It's not every day a shoot like this falls into your lap. In May, a colleague invited me to help create images as a gift for members of the Utah supercar community. He handled the location, invitations, and catering. I handled the creative.

Working alongside a single assistant and a van full of lighting equipment, I had complete control over what we made and how we made it. Twenty to thirty minutes per car. First on tripod, building a hero image by stacking exposures and lighting setups into a single composite. Then handheld for details, alternate angles, and some filter experimentation.

It's been a while since I've had a shoot this free. No brief, no approvals, complete control. Just a stocked kitchen and room to cook.
